Annie: "I'm trying to train Mommy to comb my hair without hurting my head."
Will: "Well, if you just sit very still and don't move while she's combing, it won't hurt. I used to have long hair, so I know."
Annie: "I sit still. And it STILL hurts."
Me: "I remember when I was little and my Mommy combed my hair, it always really hurt. So I understand, Annie."
Will: "Well, it doesn't hurt if you sit still. I think mommies are smarter nowadays than they were yesterday."
What? Than yesterday?
